Vium ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
If you sign in (with Apple or Google): • Name and email address (provided by your sign-in provider, stored in our database) • A user account identifier (User ID) • Your generation credit balance and generation history — the styles you use and the images you generate (stored in our database so you can access them across sessions) • Purchase history — which token packs you buy (payments are processed by Apple; we never receive your card details) • A push notification token, if you enable notifications For all users: • Photos you upload for styling (sent to our AI provider in real-time for processing; not stored by us) • Basic app preferences (stored locally on your device) We do NOT collect your contacts or browsing history, and we never sell your data. To show optional ads (see Advertising below), our ads provider may access an advertising identifier and approximate, IP-based location — and only with your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• To apply AI styles to your photos via OpenRouter / Google Gemini • To manage your generation credits (locally for guests, via our database for signed-in users) • To save your generated photos and let you revisit your generation history • To authenticate you via Sign in with Apple or Google We never sell your data to third parties.
Photos you upload are sent to our AI providers (OpenRouter / Google Gemini) solely for image generation. They are processed in real-time and are not stored by us. Generated results are saved on your device. For signed-in users, your generation history (including the images you generate) is also saved to your account in our database so you can revisit it across sessions; for guests, results stay only on your device.
Your photos may contain your face. We use them only to generate your requested AI image. Any on-device similarity check (used to keep the result looking like you) runs locally on your device — we do not extract, store, or share facial recognition data, and we never use your face or images to identify you, build a biometric profile, train AI models, or for advertising.
We use minimal storage: • localStorage – onboarding state and guest generation count • IndexedDB – your generated photos (stored locally on your device) For signed-in users, your generation credits, generation history, and purchase records are stored in our Supabase database linked to your account. Apart from our ads provider described under Advertising, we use no third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Guest users: all data lives on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all saved photos and credits — we cannot recover them. Signed-in users: your name, email, credit balance, generation history, purchase records, and push notification token are stored in our database. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time by going to Settings → Delete Account inside the Vium app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — all your data is removed from our servers with no way to recover it.
• OpenRouter / Google Gemini — receives your photo temporarily for AI processing. Subject to their privacy policies. • Supabase — stores your account data, generation history, and purchase records for signed-in users. • Apple Sign In / Google Sign-In — authentication only. We receive your name and email from your chosen provider. • Apple App Store — processes your in-app purchases. We receive a record of the purchase, never your payment details. • Google AdMob — serves optional rewarded ads. May process an advertising identifier, approximate (IP-based) location, and ad-interaction data, subject to Google's privacy policy.
Vium shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob — for example, to unlock multi-photo collage layouts or to claim your daily token reward. Watching an ad is always optional; you can decline and use the other options instead. To serve and measure these ads, AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier (IDFA), approximate, IP-based location, and ad-interaction data. On iOS we ask your permission first through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt — if you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized. Ads are handled by Google under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. We never share your photos, face data, name, or email with the ads provider.
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Account data is stored with our backend provider (Supabase) protected by row-level security so each user can only access their own data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account. For any other request, contact us at dmk.psx@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Vium is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
